![]() The latter makes more sense.Īnd so Bean and Bark are here too (No, they don’t explain how the heck these guys got here either.) as well as these two random robot minions that really have no reason to be here and just feel really generic. Either Blaze can fly for some reason or she’s using her boost to jump to the other ship and it just wasn’t drawn that clearly. (The ship Blaze is using here may be one the ships that were used in Sonic Rush Adventure but don’t quote me on it.)īlaze decides to invade the ship herself so she can retrieve the Emerald. Part 1 opens up with Blaze, Marine, Amy, and Cream on a ship out in the middle of the ocean trying to defend themselves from a metallic pirate ship. (The fact that we’re in a reboot does not help much either.)īut lets get to the actual story. While it is reasonable to say that enough time has passed since her last appearance to find the rest of them, it’s still kinda odd to just jump ahead like this. I believe Blaze’s last appearance in the comic was when she was finding her second or third emerald. (This arc takes place during the first few parts of Countdown to Chaos which takes place immediately after Worlds Collide ends.) Nowhere in Countdown to Chaos was it mentioned that Amy was gone for a week and she wasn’t in Blaze’s world before Worlds Collide started.īlaze is also now searching for the final Sol Emerald. They also say that they’ve already been there for a week even though that makes no sense because Worlds Collide just happened. They don’t really bother to explain how Amy and Cream got here anyway other than just saying the Sol Emeralds brought them here. Tracy Yardley! did.) Here, Blaze remembers the events of Worlds Collide (This may become important later on.) while Amy and Cream have fuzzy memories of their world. (Ian Flynn didn’t write this arc by the way. Not only does this entire arc take place in Blaze’s world which is completely unchanged from what it was like before in the comic, (On account that we never saw too much of it before to begin with and it was entirely stuff from the two Sonic Rush games.) but this arc is also just here to finish up a storyline from the old continuity.įirst off, I’m just going to assume that this story was being written before the decision to do a full reboot was made. So chronologically, this is actually the first issue of the new Sonic reboot, as the first part of this story arc was released before Sonic #252. That’s reason enough for me to keep going on with these. That means at least nine people read and enjoyed it. So my Countdown to Chaos review got nine notes. This review does contain spoilers and it is recommended that you have read the original issues first. Check out how to get Plunder Panic on your favorite gaming platform. The following is a retrospective of Archie’s Sonic Universe #’s 55-58. ![]() Will Winn Games has spun out of MSU, licensed Plunder Panic, and recreated it into a fully online multiplayer game available for a variety of platforms. It includes multiple game modes like Free Play, Tournament, Conquest (where you have to complete each objective to win the game), and an “All Captains” mode where each crew fights to the death! Additional modify-arrs and items allow for even more customizable play. Plunder Panic is balanced for both casual pick-up games with asymmetrical teams like 5 vs. Killing the enemy captain a certain number of times ends the game.Ĭrew members can plunder gold and return it to their crew’s treasure chest, once they get enough gold they can sail away. Crew members can also purchase a cutlass to earn the ability to attack and battle with enemy captains and opposing crews. Crew members can load cannon balls into a cannon, which needs to hit the enemy ship 3 times to sink it. Or crews can compete to row a dinghy full of explosives toward the enemy ship, if it reaches the bow of the ship, it’ll instantly sink! There are two rival crews in Plunder Panic, each consisting of 1 to 6 players who take on the role of either a captain or a crew mate. Armed with a cutlass, captains can kill enemy players and cut cannon fuses to disarm them.
